Welp, I've just managed to get ahold of a used CD-ROM for Multimedia Fusion 2 (Standard Version).
Multimedia Fusion 2 Standard CD-ROM Front and Back Cover

I've attached some scans of the cover and all.
It seems the registration code is literally a printed stick on label.

While the discs are indeed showing some early signs of disc rot with some discoloration blobs on the underside, it did fully dump with no bad sectors.
It actually includes two discs.

Enjoy as always!

yo @Kippykip , you should make a subdomain for software, in it, you can put the covers of the software and names and what it its and when they click on a cover it brings they to another page that lets them download the cds, scans and more and has a desc of the item

Yoooo thats sick
Thanks man.
It'll basically be a dedicated site for windows Games & Software, kinda like "The Repository" here on the forum, but FAR better organized and professional per title.
I plan to have for each title, linked attachments (like .ISOs, patches, etc) with a few screenshots, a comment section and description.

Select people will have an uploader role, I've got SOOO much old stuff on my 25TB NAS that's in dire need of preservation.

It'll be like as if OldVersion and Archive.org had a baby together

Yes it's a 25TB server, soon to be 32TB.
I am the host and its my own hardware.

Domain is by NiceVPS, they're great and take crypto.

From what I understand, the examples Disc 2 is identical.

And we have an ISO of developer already.
(It would be really nice to have on the shelf though...)

If anyone finds one, lemme know
its so rare, well any clickteam dvd is rare, im gonna go to goodwill tommorow and check what they have

yet our version of MMF2 Dev does not support updates nor exporter packs, we need a retail iso of it if we can find a copy of it.

I always did wonder why it doesn't, it didn't seem to work for me back then in 2010-2011 either.
But I vaguely remember reading something to do with an online check on the bay forums?
Since it uses Clickteam Install Creator Pro for the main installers, which supports some online/deactivation stuff. It would make sense.

I swear there was also an "online" and "offline" checkbox, where if you selected the offline one it still required accessing a url on another PC with internet and downloading a file.

Hence why I think the update exes or Ufo string always needed to be patched.

That original bayforums thread is now lost media, but good thing I copied the Ufo instructions and made the reupload here way back in 2011. Although I don't think I have the unpatched update installer archived.

In this bayforums thread, I recall having to copy a clickteam exe from %temp% while running the update installer, then having to modify certain bytes.
Then on top of doing all of that effort, there was also Ufo registry string workaround to prevent a mmf2 crash on boot.

The base product and installer from the .ISO always worked fine as is, it was just the updates and extension packs that were always a problem.

Guess unless we find one and confirm for ourselves, it'll be a mystery.
