Nah, that won't work as it's on the server side unfortunately, it only makes the extension itself believe it's the full version. The extra tags and tweets work etc

Heya, I ran into difficulties. So I have the newest version, 2.3.2 and did everything you said, and managed to get up to where I load the extension into chrome. As has been reported, thumbs.db is detected and I cannot use the extension. I followed your advice and turned off the two filters you mentioned in the file options, and after returning to the folder and doing a search, I couldn't find the thumbs.db folder. I did a pc scan and found some thumbs.db files to different programs, none of which are for the program in question.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Figured it out. In the file options, there's more tabs I had to click. For anyone reading, skim down over ALL the options, not just the two kippy said to uncheck.

Yeah a simple way to never have thumbs.db issues in the future is to disable thumbnails altogether

I tried your method but I couldn't be able to change my account or even trick it to change it pro. Lemme give you the the things I did in details:
First, I installed VidiQ vision extension from chrome store, thn went to its directory, (version: 2.6. ) cut paste the folder to another folder. There was only one file of js (0.js), so copied the script, beautify it, pastse it. Change t = [0] to 1. Delete _metadata folder. Check any thumbs.db file so to avoid inconvenience but there was no .db file which was good, I think. So I unpacked it.
But this time it showed me nothing. No tags, no graphs, not a thing that even the free version showed. Also the extension still says this is free account so SEO and all that stuffs are still locked.
