WinRAR, i'm sure you know what it is, but if you don't know:
WinRar is a (.RAR) reader along with many other file types.

I have to say 7zip beats it. I used WinRAR for like 20 years before 7Zip.

I just use Winrar because it has prettier icons

And maybe because you can just double click files, where 7-Zip doesn't do anything (Unless you right click files)
i'm on 98 so I dunno
EDIT: Just tried WinRar and it works with KernalEX!
Yay now when i double click zip files it doesn't freeze :D
I'm keeping 7-Zip too, you never know with 98...
