I am not really sure if this is the right place to talk about it here but anyway this has something to do with the way Meshy works and thats why I wanted to post here on programming where I think the topic might fit?
I was generating sprites with Meshy just couple days ago and right now I have a problem. Nano Banana 2 there got removed and replaced with Nano Banana Pro for subscribed members only! They even restrict the first Nano Banana! So I am unable to continue working on it because the tool I am using got too greedy!
I HATE ai tools these days. Sure they are very useful with recreating N64 and Super Nes material but when it comes to bullshit token usage and nonsense subscription my work is screwed!
I was looking at alternatives and none of them are like Meshy very powerful and almost accurate with recreating from old screenshots and video of lost games! I am trying to recreate something that nobody ever done before. The only issues I am having with Meshy are the features restricted by pro and token usage. I am not sure if this will put my Meshy account at risk if theres a way to modify the functions on the site?
Only one way to find out I guess lmao. I got this idea from a Discord repo on Github before that allow using emojis and stickers from other servers while that was only limited to subscribed members on discord. So Im thinking maybe theres a way to access pro features without subscription with Meshy?
I know this won't grant me unlimited tokens because thats not restricted by the pro and while I did found another way to get more free tokens there by voting people's 3d work there and sharing what I made across different social media sites which will get me 10 tokens more for each person who click on my link to see my work on different social media sites but the easier way would be just liking other people's work with voting!
So the token usage is not much of a problem. Only that I am unable to download my models but theres a extension that will do it. The format downloaded are not obj or collada though. I have to convert the models myself using Blender. Problem is the only version of Blender that works with the add-on is outdated!
Theres no recent update with the tool yet. One possible solution around this is to provide a download model as obj or collada instead or make a similar add-on for importing the Meshy models to the most curent Blender version. Those are my ideas!
If you're a coding expert who knows anything about Meshy's functions let me know if you can help! I just need to make more 3d models and 3d sprites in the traditional style of N64 and Super Nes games especially Rareware era lmao.
