I have made the decision to implement PERMANENT geoblock for India on kippykip.com and all associated subdomains.
This measure takes effect immediately and is intended to address some major problematic issues.
Over the past few years, the Kippykip Network has experienced a stupidly high volume of spam registrations, with the vast majority originating from India.
While the forums have countermeasures like captcha and StopForumSpam, the manual approval queue has consistently grown to hundreds of entries.
Having stricter settings though effective against spam, has inadvertently affected legitimate people especially those with VPNs (myself oopsie).
Additionally, this persistent spam has had broader negative effects on our site's performance, particularly the non-forum subdomains.
It has contributed to lower AdSense rates due to frequent page refreshes and has distorted engagement metrics where people viewing pages for half a second.
Google Analytics looks like a trainwreck
To the genuine peeps in India who aren't secretly plotting to fuckup the forum with "Viagra at 50% off WHATSAPP" posts or constantly access wordpress like URLS (even though none of them use it):
