I'm curious though, how did you get it to work with SmartSteamEmu itself without the launcher?

The previous tests were done with the SSELauncher, trying it without SSELauncher and instead opening with the SmartSteamEmu gives the same exact problem you were having when opening built applications. So, I can provide a working version but you need to launch it with the SSELauncher.
