With this combo, you actually end up being able to run a hell of lot more than a modern ARM based mac can anyways. And you don't have to worry about backwards compatibility being suddenly withdrawn by big Tim later on.
Speaking of the Mac exporter for clickteam...
Seeing how often clickteams exporters get neglected after customers purchase them, it probably wouldn't be long before it becomes unsupported and ditched anyway if you were trying to make an Indie game support apple.
Since fusion started on steam, I believe the exporter broke once Mac Catalina stopped supporting 32-bit programs (it might even still be broken, I never checked), and will likely break again once the modern ARM based macs stop supporting X86 emulation. Apple uses an extra chip for that x86 support, so you can bet your ass in a few more generations they'll get rid of that chip to reduce costs.
...It's just not worth it in the long run
