A full CD version of TGF 2 has been lost for a long time since people who have the retail disc of it refuse to make a ISO of the disc and archive because those idiots think it's "piracy" and that it's "worse than stealing a car" (not counting any users from this forum) or there were working torrent links of them but they had no seeds.

So i went my way and found a complete, working version of TGF 2 from the Polish magazine Komputer Swiat (nowadays they are a meh news blog). However i won't make a torrent of it.
It doesn't include stuff like the Newgrounds Flash exporter, you are better using Clickteam Fusion 2.5 for that since a cracked version is hard to find.

Download it here

If the link goes down, NP as i will reup it.

Ah, it looks like the one I found in my 2012 downloads is the same version.
Although mine was in a billion split RAR files, I've just re-zipped mine and put it on the CDN domain now.

See if there's anything different, to my eyes at first glance it looks like the exact same version.

Yeah, it's the same version.
I mean makes sense the common version comes from a magazine. I got TGF1 home for free in like 2005-2007 because it was in a PC User magazine.

Probably how they got the word out early on.

by the way I have a special request for you! Would you be please be very kind enough to upload that preinstalled prototype of Sims on your site here on its own thread? I think it deserved the preservation it needs but not like how Hidden Palace done a poor job doing it by not including a preinstalled file for those having trouble with 32bit installers. I would really appreciate your help!

It's really not a problem, hiddenpalace releases prototypes in an as is state
.
It's already expected for a game that old to require a x86 VM or some workarounds (https://kippykip.com/threads/installshield-32-bit-binaries-x64-windows-fix.5648/).
PCGamingWiki exists for a reason, it's not up to hiddenpalace.

Wayyyy too many of the 2000s CD-ROMs from shelf, notably anything disney use these InstallShield installers.
Funnily enough these run just fine on WINE on Linux, since that can already run 16 bit applications even on a 64-bit system.

I haven't even tried otvdm which uses wine to run 16-bit apps on Windows 10/11, but I used it on my old desktop before it was in storage with success on Bad Toys 3D.

I demonstrated it at 12:09

Nice to see you again. did you zipped the preinstalled game? sorry I still haven't figure out my problem yet. ::verysad_cry::
Yee sorry, I've been tied up with some sudden housesitting this week. I'll have to reinstall it on my laptop and wait till I'm back on LAN this weekend to transfer it to the CDN domain.
Alternatively, just temporarily disable defender, install and flick it back on, or use OTVDM if you're in a hurry

I'll try reinstalling Avast and if that doesn't help replace Defender my last resort is contact the idiots from MS.
my god don't use avast, mcafee or norton ::m_skull::

Just learn to change the settingsssssss, hell even use chatgpt or grok to teach you how to add AV exceptions.
Group Policy can be used to turn defender off permanent at the extreme (not recommended but if it's this sensitive)

Use the virustotal website on downloaded .exe files if you're ever sus on something

you can't be this bad at using a windows computer bro while messing with prototypes and 2000s software
new generation is cooked
