Is next gen consoles worth it?

Is next gen consoles such as PS4 or Xbox One even necessary, I have a ps3 and all I use it for is to watch bluray movies. For games I use a PC
So is getting PS4 or crapbox one even worth it.

PC is the master race. I don't think it's really worth it, but it depends on what you prefer and if you like to play split screen and shit.

but i think that games that are coming out later

eg. The Evil Within or the Witcher 3

would definitely make them, or at least the Ps4 worth it (Xboner is shit and can burn in hell)

To be honest, I think that the selection on PC, even Steam is probably just better. I suppose that's my liking.

But yeah, PS4 maybe, definitely not XBox One.

No, but I'm a PC Gamer. The specs are horrible, not something I would call "next-gen" at all. I was reading that neither new console even does 1080p. They render the games then use an upscaling chip, which is not the same as true 1080.

I think it IS worth it, because the PS4 has some decent exlusives. There's also the matter of new PC's having WIndows 8, so you cant buy a decent PC anymore, and not everyone ahs the time and knowledge to build their own or to install Windows 7.

I personally prefer PC, as I have a gaming computer, however if others choose to use PS4, I'm OK with that. X-Box One, however, DIE XBOX DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE >:O

Also, there's the matter of Developers making CRAP PC ports for their games, and Watch_Dogs being Handicapped on PC Want to know more? :

If you don't want windows 8 don't ask for one with it mkay
and Watch dogs is still worse on consoles than pc but its a crap game anyway

There's nothing exclusive on consoles that make them worthwhile, but PCs have tons of exclusives that make them worth it.
