Here are both Command & Conquer: Red Alert II + Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge in portable format.
It is ready to run out of the box, completely DRM free with community fixes for both video on systems running past Windows Vista with the TCP/IP Lan patch.
Also includes Final Alert 2 (Map / Level editor).
It is based off the latest Steam version game files but with ddrawcompat swapped out for the far better cnc-ddraw.
Code:
There are 4 quick and easy NSIS launchers outside the "Data\" directory provided for ease of use.
Red Alert 2, Red Alert 2: YR, Final Alert 2 (Map Editor), and cnc-ddraw (video options).
The NSIS launchers also enables the flag to let you to change the game speed in the main campaign levels.
Alternatively...
For running CnC: Red Alert 2 directly, launch "Data\game.exe".
For running CnC: Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge directly, launch "Data\gamemd.exe".
For running Final Alert 2's level editor directly, launch "Data\FinalAlert2\FinalAlert2YR.exe".
Otherwise for running the cnc-ddraw config tool directly, launch "Data\cnc-ddraw config.exe".
For WINE users on Linux, you will have to add the ddraw.dll override. You can do so with the following:
Ppen "wine winecfg". In the "Applications" tab, click "Add application" then select the "game.exe" & "gamemd.exe" files.
Now select the "Libraries" tab, in the text box that says "New override for library:" type the following:
ddraw.dll
You will get a warning about the load order, click "Yes".
Click OK to close the box.
Running the game should now finally start as normal under WINE.
