Wow I recently upgraded just about everything but they had Doom 2016 on sale for Christmas but my PC is still too slow to run it. What the crock!!!!!!

The console hardware on the "next gen" consoles is comparable to a 5 year old PC and barely runs any games at 1080p. The Xbox One none actually. My point was the game should run better on superior hardware but according to spec requirements I won't even be able to run it. Looking around the net though it seems they added a ton of stuff to the PC version and that's why it's harder to run on the PC. I may get the game anyways just to see how bad it runs.

PS4 can't do more than 1080 where a PC can. In this video the PC is scaled down to 1080 and still looks better. And I researched the hardware of both consoles years ago and they just do not have the power a PC does, although the programmers have a serious advantage in that field as they only have to program for one set of hardware and usually end up with a smoother experience because of that. Not sure what you are saying about lag as lag has nothing to do with graphics. Lag is a network problem.

Actually no I didn't know what you were meaning. I prefer the correct terms on IT things to avoid confusion though I did hear an IT guy at work one day say he was going to download his game to his computer, incorrectly referring to a game he had on disk. I cringed! LOL! Kind of reminds me of the times I hear someone refer to the entire case as the CPU when the CPU is actually a chip on the motherboard. But chill man take it easy, its all good.

DeletedUser no need to be an ass, but games usually run on consoles better than low end PC's because it's programmed to be far more optimized on console. If game companies put an incredibly laggy game on a console, it would get horrible reviews as nobody would be able to play it. Since every console is the same though, little certain optimizations would affect all the consoles.
Since every PC is built different, those optimizations would only work on certain PC's while making it worse on others etc etc.
I'd still recommend getting the PC version due to mouse control, as you can jump around on platforms while turning around quickly and shooting etc in mid air. But the problem is it needs a higher-end PC to play it.

This is getting to complicated... I'm gonna sit on a chair in the corner now...

It's all right, it's all good. Just sit back and relax. Doom was only on sale l like a day for $20 but now back up to $59. I been playing CS:GO lately anyways. I wish now I had gotten the 8350 instead of the 6100 CPU. May still get it anyways. *kicks self in face*

I have them all, though can't remember which one was the better one. That one was pretty horrible to control. Primal Fury was easier to play control wise.

I am about 1/4 Native American or American Indian, or more specifically Cherokee. I honestly don't look anything like an American Indian though as it bred out I guess.
