Tube Buddy Cracked Extension For chrome

Well cracked chrome extensions technically aren't really a thing, as the extensions are already open source and can be modified at will.
You probably won't get many results on Google for searching that. But I just name my modifications "cracks" because I don't really know how else to describe it.

Sometimes though the extensions are server sided (extension connects to their servers) so editing the code may not work as we're editing them client-sided.
However if the extension was programmed by a lazy developer, it can usually be modified easily.

If I get some time off I'll see if I can modify the "buying/premium" code out for ya.

I just had a look at TubeBuddy, while I can edit the extension itself's license to enable the missing options, clicking those enabled options just opens their tubebuddy website where it says I don't have access as that would definitely be server-sided and can't be modified.
So it looks like TubeBuddy cannot be modified very far.

What? That t= thing only applies to VidIQ, and manifest.json is just what tells chrome the name/icon of the extension and what JS files to load.
If you actually go through the source code, it's an entirely different variable. Changing the variable does change the licence on the tubebuddy extension and youtube page which is good. The thing that isn't good is when clicking the now enabled features on the extension, the buttons just open a page on the tubebuddy.com website which obviously cannot be modified and therefore your account on the tubebuddy website says you have the default basic license.

The chrome source file editing only works on extensions that are fully client sided only. Since this extension uses their website for it's features, there's nothing that can be done.
This is also the same reason why not all features work on the modified VidIQ, as it contacts their server but since we're spoofing the license their website will return a 403.

Yeah it's unfortunate, interestingly though there seems to be an unused licence called "Enterprise". It's not even listed on there main tube buddy website! Pretty interesting.
VidIQ also has an unused enterprise mode, when enabling it you get a "MASS LIKE" button under the rating bar, it's broken though as it's server-side though. A bit shady, maybe big channels have been paying extra to VidIQ for the enterprise version, ya never know.
